The Insidious Reason People Drive You Crazy (And Why You Should Never Ignore Them)

You’re driving home from work frustrated.

It’s dinner time with your family and you’re pissed, but you try to hide it.

Waking up in the morning is great… until that split second when you remember your life, your job, and you remember…

People suck!

And you’re absolutely right. I’m not going to sit here and serenade you with fairytales of how things should be. To hell with that!

They’re absolute cowards 100%.

I want you to say it with me.

They’re absolute cowards 100%. What does it feel like to say it? Don’t ignore it. Face it straight on. Feel it viscerally. Hold that feeling and look at it.

What do you see? Zoom in closer. Look at how your body responds when you think of those people. Your heart rate increases, your mind jumps all over the place, you can’t sit still.

Look at the past 5, even 10 years how it’s been accumulating. Your fuse gets shorter and shorter.

Go back to that dinner with your family the other night. You tried to hide it, but they knew something was off. You might think you’re a good faker. But I’m telling you now.

They all know.

Right here you have a choice to make.

Stay on the tracks you’re on now and remain miserable…

Or switch tracks and be more productive and overall happier in life. On which tracks do you want to take your family?

The greatest gift you have is the power to choose.

Here’s a little snippet from neuroscience research. Every day you make about 35,000 decisions. That’s a whole lot of choices, right?

Actually, 95% of those decisions are made unconsciously on autopilot. Otherwise your brain would overload and freeze like a computer. So it’s like a protection mechanism wired into our brains.

Think back to when you were learning to drive a car. You put a lot of conscious thought into each movement. You paid close attention to what you were doing. These days it’s automatic. You don’t think about it anymore.

You just get in the car and drive, right?

You can accurately say that 95% of our lives is run on autopilot.

Your unconscious mind is the driver’s seat, making your decisions for you.

Your thoughts, beliefs and emotions are running the show. The result is: Behavior.

That’s why people behave erratically. They lash out. They duck and hide. They have practically zero control over their behavior because their unconscious thoughts, beliefs and emotions are driving.

They’re unaware how their unconscious programs run on fear, rage, deceit, selfishness, disrespect. It becomes their personality.

Your friends will tell you to ignore those people. I’m telling you to LOOK at them. Take a good look and decide if that’s you in 5, 10, 20 years.

Look at your own thoughts, beliefs and emotions. Which tracks are you on?

It takes courage to look at your life directly and be real.

We all come to that crossing at some point in our lives.

The fact is that many people unconsciously decide to remain miserable because it’s familiar. It’s all they know.

They’re afraid of change. They’re afraid to take the wheel and make decisions for themselves. That’s exactly why they’re cowards.

They don’t have the cojones to face life. And when they get old they’re filled with a new emotion: Regret.

Now ask yourself this, which tracks do you want to be on?

Now is your time. Make a choice.
